Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Cairo, Egypt, Cyprometal Industries is the nation’s first company to refine and produce zinc from both primary and secondary sources. With a landmark investment of $200 million, we are laying the foundation for Egypt’s industrial independence in nonferrous metals while positioning ourselves as a future global player.

Production & Technology
At the core of our operations is a state-of-the-art hybrid refining system that integrates both pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical processes. This innovative approach allows us to treat a wide spectrum of raw materials—from high-grade ores and concentrates to industrial waste—while ensuring minimal emissions, zero dust release, and a fully enclosed, recycling-driven operation.
